We accept all major credit/debit cards, cash, and handwritten checks as payment.
Every order is strictly processed separately from all others.
All animals must be skinned and gutted before being dropped off for processing.
All orders must be picked up within 5 days of being notified. Due to limited freezer space, orders left over 14 days will be disposed of, no exceptions.
We will call you when your order is ready. If you do not answer the phone we will leave a voicemail. Please make sure you provide us with a good phone number to reach you at and a voicemail inbox that is set up and able to receive messages.
Typically, all orders are ready for pickup within 5 to 10 days of being dropped off. Please make arrangements to pay and pick up in a timely manner.
Customers who refuse to pay and pick up their order will be reported for theft of services and legal action will be taken.
We do NOT accept frozen meat. Please have your clean meat thawed out and on ice.
A $20 cleaning fee will be applied to your order if your meat is not clean. Please make sure your meat is free of feces (poop), bloodshot areas, infection, bad odor, hair, glands, etc. We reserve the right to refuse meat that is not in edible condition.
All wild game must be tagged/documented in accordance with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunting Laws. It is the hunter's responsibility to make sure their wild game is tagged and documented correctly. Bay Area Deer Processing is NOT responsible for ensuring a customer's wild game is tagged correctly. Please make sure your tag and hunting license is filled out fully and properly. All orders, tags, and documents at Bay Area Deer Processing are subject to search and review by the Texas Game Wardens. Remember, the tag stays with the meat, that is the law! It is mandatory for any person leaving wild game in Bay Area Deer Processing's possession to fill out the Texas Game Wardens Cold Storage Book.
It is illegal to sell wild game. Bay Area Deer Processing does NOT sell wild game. It is illegal for you to sell your own wild game.
There is a 10 pound minimum per sausage product and flavor.
Sausage products are specialty products and are priced as the total amount of meat, deer and pork combined, and spices that are added that go into the sausage product. You are NOT paying for only the pork added. Making a specialty sausage product is a time consuming labor and priced as such.
Any animal weighing over 100 pounds will be charged $2.00 per pound for the processing fee. Please be aware of this before dropping your large animal off.
Small animals will still be charged at $80 (quartered) or $90 (whole carcass) for the processing fee. Please be aware of this before dropping your small animal off.
Deer processing can get pricey! If you are on a budget please let us know. We are happy to work with you to keep your order cost down.
Bay Area Deer Processing is NOT responsible for any ice chests, coolers, or damage to them.
